    Tokyo Ghoul √A meh

    I haven't read the manga for Tokyo Ghoul, but I can tell that whatever this was, was awful. It played the "cool card" too many times. Kaneki becomes a lifeless, empty main character that doesn't express his sorrows in any way, just like every other stereotypical one.     Monster great

    Maybe I am only 15 episodes in, but I'm already seeing why this is one of the most renowned works in the anime/manga world to date.

    Assassination Classroom is less about attempting to kill a monster than it is about having that monster serve as a catalyst to teach the value of growing up with and apart from others in order to form a stronger sense of self and deeper human bonds.
